E-Library

What is it?

The OUHK Electronic Library(E-Library) is an Information Express providing access to resources relevant to your study or research at the OUHK. Here, you can find online databases, electronic books, journals as well as quality Internet resources.

At the E-Library homepage, you may:

  • Browse and search about 38,980 electronic journals and databases
  • Browse and search more than 84,900 electronic books
  • Search online examination papers and assigned readings
  • Search mainly 211,100 printed /multimedia items and 640 printed journals
  • Renew and reserve Library items.

All active OUHK students (i.e. students who are taking OUHK courses in the current semester) are eligible to use the full Electronic Library services.

You can access the Electronic Library via the Library Homepage. The website is available to you 24 hours a day and can be accessed anywhere by means of a PC with Internet connection. Full Electronic Library services can also be obtained via on-campus Internet access from the PC Laboratory or the campus libraries' Internet workstations.

To access the E-Library off-campus, simply log in with your user ID and password.

  2. The Library Guides section provides you with an overview of the E-Library, user guides, videos and other materials about how to find subject resources, databases, e-books, e-journals, and other library materials and services.
